BCCI’s Gesture of Appreciation
BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia confirmed the monumental payout in a statement on Monday, underscoring that this reward is entirely independent of the ICC’s prize money.
“The BCCI is elated and is personally rewarding the Indian team with a sum of INR 51 crores,” Saikia stated.
This substantial amount will be distributed not only among the players but also the selectors and the entire support staff, headed by coach Amol Muzumdar, recognizing the collective effort behind the title win against South Africa.

This domestic incentive is in addition to the highly increased prize money allocated by the ICC for the tournament winners.
